The AGATHOCLES “Distrust and Abuse/Agarchy” 12”LP contains 2 full AGATHOCLES studio 7”EPs, which were both recorded at the NIGHTINGALE STUDIOS in Antwerpen, Belgium. DISTRUST AND ABUSE is one of the most heavy downtuned goregrind sounding recordings of AGATHOCLES ever, containing 6 songs recorded in 1993 with Jan on bass/voice, Steve on guitar/voice and Burt on drums. AGARCHY contains 4 songs recorded in 1991 with Jan on guitar/voice, Erwin on bass/voice and Burt on drums.

“Humarrogance” is the 5th full studio album of AGATHOCLES and was recorded in autumn 1997 at the Soundshape Studios in Belgium where the band also recorded albums such as “Razor Sharp Daggers”, “Black Clouds Determinate” and many more. The album was originally released in 1997 by MORBID RECORDS and has been out of print since 1998. More than 20 years later comes this re-issue on SELFMADEGOD RECORDS with brand new artwork and besides the 20 original songs of the album an extra song which was recorded at the same session back in 1997. The whole material was re-mastered in 2019 at the Nero’s Inferno Studios. This AGATHOCLES release is a massive bulldozer guitar driven assault with haunting deep vocals and twisted riffs combined with Burt’s tight pounding drumming style. The EP includes three recently recorded songs from Belgium's mince kings ("Trail of despair", "Nazional sozial(ist) security", "Flanders' little cesspool") and two from the Ohio's death metal behemoth ("To Sin Again", "Your Soul Belongs To Me"). 100 copies are on black/grey/transparent marbled vinyl and the remaining 400 on the standard black wax.

Both bands have been around for well over 20 years and have released hundreds of similar splits although its the first time when Agathocles and Nunslaughter share the same record.

Agathocles smashes everything with six heavy as hell mincecore tracks, drenched in distortion and social awareness. Oxidised Razor deliver their usual downtuned assault in the key of gore. How can this be anything but perfect?
