BLOOD HARVEST RECORDS is proud to present a special split 7" between American death metal hordes GHOULGOTHA and RUIN, jointly titled Churning in Vertebraes / Becoming Disease. Featuring an exclusive track from each band, this 7" displays both GHOULGOTHA and RUIN at the height of their sickly, slimy powers. GHOULGOTHA's "Churning in Vertebraes" literally sounds like that: an amorphously twisting churn of foul 'n' gutted sound, weaving across eldritch, doom-drenched landscapes and crunching bone underfoot as it does so. Likewise, RUIN's "Becoming Disease" sonically approximates its title, beginning life as a fetid squelch of sewer sound and then building steam into a massive juggernaut of pustulent power, not stopping until total doom is ensured. As ever at BLOOD HARVEST, only death is real!

ANARCHUS are a star of grindcore scene in South America. Founded as long ago as in 1987 and still inexhaustibly tormenting the underground stages with their energetic grindcore pieces. In November of 1988 the first demo of the band "Total Hate" was recorded, followed in 1990 - and with Julio Alvarez in the guitar-of the first EP of the band, "Final Fall of the Gods" with Rigid Records. Both recordings get a great response in Mexico and other countries and by May of that year (1990) the band had a mini tour in Tampa Bay, Florida for the promotion of the EP playing next to bands like Assuck and Paineater. In 1991 enters Miguel Angel Cortes "Thrasher" and in 1992 Jaime "The Grandfather" in the drums. In spite of multiple complications and changes of members the band continues playing for almost all Mexico since 1988. Over the following years some of the recordings have been reedited and several compilations have also been performed. In 2004 the group carried out a very extensive and satisfactory tour of Japan From 2012 to 2015 there was again more changes in the lineup until the arrival of Luis Oropeza (who had previously been in the band,as lead guitar and with whom the band's record the first album: "Age of Consent"), Vernon Blake, Bodybag Bob and Mike Petrak. The new CD is recorded early 2017 at the MAT Studio and Masterered at Dream On Records 10 brutal grind attacks in the vein of ASSÃœCK and early MISERY INDEX material. After 30 years of existence a real blast from the south american scene heroes ANARCHUS.

The long-awaited second album of America´s Ruin. Not much is known about the anonymous aural torturers known as Ruin. At least, that was the case a couple years ago, before the band´s rebirth. The small amount of information that we did know was that the band was formed back in 1991, somewhere in the United States. Due to various members of the band being incarcerated and institutionalized, Ruin was disbanded at some point later that year. Rumors have also swirled that the band members were/are part of some sort of cult. Now free from any obstacles, the Ruin Death Metal machine was re-started again in 2015, and work began in earnest for what was to become their debut album, "Drown in Blood". Released last year by us to worldwide critical acclaim, Ruin´s "Drown in Blood" was everything that everyone had been waiting for, and then some: mean, vicious, spiteful, raucous and sickening Death Metal. Sonic debauchery is what you wanted? Sonic debauchery is what you got! Alas, Ruin strike while the iron´s red-hot and deliver another foul cauldron of filth with "Human Annihilation". Shit-heavy and strewn with shit, "Human Annihilation" picks up exactly where their "Drown in Blood" ended, and delivers pure and utter ugliness enriched with doomed-out passages, crusty tempos and sudden blasts that are meant to turn your stomach without care. And yet, compared to its predecessor, "Human Annihilation" goes even deeper into the creepiness; its soundfield is still vile and viscous, but there´s an even-more-pronounced lurking dread haunting their no-less-heavy ruminations. If "Drown in Blood" was some sort of bastard child spawned from Hellhammer covers being slammed out by "Realm of Chaos"-era Bolt Thrower taking place in the jam room of Finnish sickos Abhorrence in 1989, then "Human Annihilation" is the beyond-drunk and drugged-out aftermath, where there´s simply no escape from the disease-ridden basement. They say absence makes the heart grow fonder. Well, this time, Ruin weren´t gone very long for us to feel any warm feelings for them, and so they deliver the more sickening and hateful "Human Annihilation".
