ANTIGAMA’s sixth studio full-length since forming in 2000, “Meteor” is the revered act’s first proper album since 2009’s acclaimed “Warning”, and following two LPs with Relapse Records, will see the band returning to longtime allies Selfmadegod Records, their first LP for the label since 2005’s innovative “Zeroland”. The recently completed composition “Meteor” once again proves all over again why the band continually reaps such accolades with the media fans as both one of the most brutal bands of the genre as well as one of the most cutting-edge. With eleven new tracks of primal ANTIGAMA annihilation, “Meteor” reverts back to some of the bands more intimately brutal early material with thirty minutes of ultra-tight grindcore explosiveness, yet continues to carry the band’s detrimentally inventive edge, integrating brief progressive soundtrack ventures and more noise and programming elements. Recorded at Progresja Studio in Warsaw with producer Pawel "Janos" Grabowski (Masachist, Lost Soul) and mastered by Scott Hull (Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Pig Destroyer), the album also features a guest appearance by Michal Lapaj from world renowned Polish progressive rock band Riverside.

Poland’s grandmasters of radical grindcore, ANTIGAMA, have completed the seventh full-length installation of their cutting edge arsenal, “The Insolent”, for release through their trusted alliance with Selfmadegod Records. Following the impact of their massive 2013-released “Meteor” album, ANTIGAMA will once again captivatingly scar the planet with the inundation of “The Insolent”. Seeing the band further along their ongoing path of progression, “The Insolent” contains another intriguing alloy of their futuristic grind savagery heavily diversified with cosmic exploration and harsh dissonance through ten new tracks of unorthodox, rapid forward-thinking metal. Recorded in February at JNS Studio in Warsaw, “The Insolent” was engineered by Pawel Grabowski, mixed by Pawel Grabowski and the band, and mastered by Scott Hull at Visceral Sound in Bethesda, Maryland (Pig Destroyer, Agoraphobic Nosebleed), the album features a very special guest appearance of the legend of Polish electronic music scene, Władysław “Gudonis” Komendarek, and bears cover art designed by Bartek Rogalewicz.

The long awaited split LP between Polish progressive grinders ANTIGAMA and Swedish horror/prog rock masters ANIMA MORTE is unleashed!

The Polish quartet offers one new song and “Malcontento Popolare” cover song by Alessandro Alessandroni, famous multi-instrumentalist and film score maker from Italy. For those who are familiar with prolific discography of ANTIGAMA know it’s not the first time they pay homage to horror music. Nearly ten years ago the band recorded “Zombi” cover song by Italian progressive rock band GOBLIN. ANTIGAMA's side was recorded and mixed at JNS Studio, Warsaw, Poland with Paweł Grabowski late 2015/early 2016. Mastered by James Plotkin (O.L.D., REGURGITATION, ATOMSMASHER, KHANATE).

Here is what the guitarist Sebastian Rokicki says about this release: "Being the worshippers of the old Italian giallo/horror/library soundtracks, Karol/Selfmadegod Records and myself are proud to share new Antigama release with one of the most outstanding bands nowadays cultivating the old tradition of the genre: Anima Morte! Our side of the split will include the cover of Maestro Alessandro Alessandroni's "Malconento Popolare" and a brand new Antigama song "Brothers."

ANIMA MORTE is a Swedish cinematic instrumental horror group established in 2004. Their music is progressive rock / horror soundtrack / instrumental, continuing the legacy of bands and artists like Goblin, Fabio Frizzi, Bruno Nicolai, Stelvio Cipriani, Rick Wakeman, Ennio Morricone and the likes. With three full albums, two 7"EPs and contributions to various compilations this is going to be the first split 12"LP in the band's discography. The band recorded two songs especially for this release: one new original song and a cover of the theme from the 1977 movie 'Il Gatto Dagli Occhi Di Giada' (aka Watch Me When I Kill) by Trans Europa Express.
