HAEMOPHAGUS - Necromantical Death Grind: the Early Years CD

Six bands, six labels, from six different countries, thats the deal. This is an international grindcore gathering. Bands: GONER (US), BLOODY ACT OF TERROR (Indonesia), D-COMPOSED (Netherlands), HAEMOPHAGUS (Italy), JIGSORE PUZZLE (Germany) and SPLATTERED MERMAIDS (Sweden).

Death Doom explorers Assumption are ready to sink into outer cosmos again! Following their critically acclaimed EP "The Three Appearances" these three new tracks (clocking around 37 minutes) continues developing the psychedelic aura of the italian band to reach a new level of sonic deviation where visionary Floyd-esque sections are combined with extremely heavy, downtempo riffs.

Initially started in 2011 as a studio-project with David on drums and Giorgio on vocals and all the other instruments, Assumption have managed to set up a live line-up throughout the years, sharing stages with bands such as Esoteric, Demilich, Sub Rosa and so on.

Italian doom/death band Assumption made a great impact in doom/death scene with their 1st full-length album "Absconditus" released in 2018. Their 1st demo originaly released in 2012 is re-issued as digisleeve-CD format now! As you may guess from their logo, their main influence is mighty diSEMBOWELMENT without doubt. There are also Pink-FLoyd-esque psychedelic elements in their music. At this time, they used not only deep low growl but also Pestilence/Obistuary style hysteric vocal. Compared to their latter stuffs, the songs are much more death metal. Anyway, this is the 1st page of the history of this Italian doom/death band!

Third full album of HAEMOPHAGUS from Palermo, Sicily, Italy! It contains 14 songs of horror obsessed death metal/grindcore influenced by early CARCASS, GENERAL SURGERY, REPULSION, AUTOPSY, TERRORIZER. “Stream of Shadows” was recorded, engineered and mixed in Palermo by the long time friend Silvio "Spadino" Punzo at Tone Deaf Studios.
